The children's ministry of Duluth Seventh Day Adventist Church is a special group just for our little ones or not so little ones as well, in order to be able to interact with kids their own age while learning about the word of God and God himself. Children’s ministry coordinates a couple of events throughout the year, VBS being the biggest, in order to have our kids come together for praise and worship as well as to enjoy many games, activities, and food planned for them to enjoy.
Here at the children’s ministry of Duluth, we believe that our kids should have a special time and place between themselves in order for them to interact and learn more about the word of God. It’s important that each kid feels a special connection with God, not just as our savior, but as our friend. That’s why we have events coordinated specifically for them in order to keep a connection to the church as a whole, but also to be able to keep that personal connection between them and God
We would love to see new faces! We always want to encourage parents to invite friends and family with little ones to join our events. We always encourage our kids to always be welcoming to new faces in order to have more kids know and learn about the friend we have in Jesus. We also want to invite parents in order to have them feel welcomed as well and be able to interact with everyone at our church and reach out to the ones that want to know or learn more of the word. We always strive for all our kids to leave our events with that special connection to Jesus as well as their fellow companions and for parents to feel the same experience in order to take the learnings of the day with them to their home and incorporate it into their daily lives.

If you’d like to get involved with our ministry the perfect person to contact is Xenia Torres. She has worked with kids of all ages including newborns. Xenia has been leading ministries for the last 3 years. Xenia has led our youth in groups of 40 + youth as well as groups of 5 - 10 youth.
