Small Groups For Every Age!

Here at Duluth SDA, our SS Dept meets every Sabbath morning at 10:20am for small group discussion of the word. The idea behind our ministry is to provide a space for a deep analysis of the word in small group bible study style. Through the SDA Sabbath School lessons, each class takes a deep dive into that week's lesson. Our department is broken up into the following classes: Craderoll, Kindergarten, Primary, Junior, Earliteen, Youth,Young Adult, and Adult.

Type of Programs:

13th Sabbath- The last Sabbath of the quarter where all classes show the church what each class has been studying over the last quarter through presentations.

Sabbath School Day- The entire Sabbath program, devine hour and other parts of the day are devoted to highlighting the Sabbath School Ministry to the church. This is normally followed by a fellowship potluck. Our goal is also to reach the community by inviting them out to come as well.

Annual Church Picnic- Normally during the first or second weekend, the Sabbath School Department holds the Annual Church Picnic at the Park for the entire church. We always strive to have an evangelistic effort interwoven into our picnic. In the past, we’ve labeled our church info on water bottles and passed them around to people in the park. We’ve also invited local park attendees to our picnic, prayed over them for illnesses and birthdays. Our annual picnics are filled with fellowship, fun and evangelism.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:1-5
